Sierra Murphrey

"Sierra has an amazing grasp of photography and style."

––Rae Gedlaman
Art Director/Jewellery Designer

"Sierra is not only a pleasure to work with, but she is enormously talented: her refined sense of style and attention to detail are impeccable. She intuitively delivers what we need every time,

she is our first choice for any and all styling needs."

––Stephanie Ariel, Art Director

Today Sierra Murphree is a photo stylist for print production specializing in generating photo magic through clever engineering and unparalled wit.

Flower arrangement

"When I described the look I wanted for the flowers it involved instructions like, 'Make it look like Levin's wedding in Anna Karenina,' 'New Year as in renewal. Not New year as in Dick Clark,' and 'I like red'. She took these abstractions, turned them into a vision, and executed amazing bouquets, centerpieces and boutonnieres.

Sierra has great taste, a creative spirit and she's a perfectionist. I recommend her highly!"

––Elizabeth Ashford Perry, Bride

Album Cover for Brandon Patton's "3100 Miles"

"The album cover that Sierra designed for me has garnered a lot of attention. People tell me all the time how much the album cover made them interested in my music. Also, working with Sierra was a pleasure because she is a great collaborator. She is very flexible and generous; not overly wedded to her first ideas. She wants to find the perfect solution. She works hard to understand the specific nature of any project, and

she knows how varied and meaningful images can be. Her instincts are terrific."

Animation Stills

Growing up, Sierra spent weekends at bookstores admiring modern art. This education fostered her continuing interest in visual arts and design, leading to a B.F.A. in photography from the California College of Arts & Crafts where her ease and confidence in making artistic decisions earned her the prestigious All College Honors Marjorie Benedict Memorial Scholarship for her work.
